VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WITH THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
FUMC is responsible for snacks (Sandy Schuetz, Leslie D. and Mona W. will make and serve) and leaders to take the kids around to the various stations. We were asked to also lead recreation, but with most of our folks that might do such jobs being in El Sembrador (Honduras) that week, we will probably have to ask others to lead this. We can use older AHS kids too. It is also Fair Week and that will present a big conflict, but we will do the best we can.
A missionary team from Chihuahua, Mexico's FUMC will be leading the VBS. Right now my understanding is it will center on Soccer. Everything will be at FPC. I think that's cool that we need missionaries from Mexico instead of the other way around!
More information as I receive it. I may ask some of you to attend a planning meeting with me at FPC when they have one.
